Nuqta AI is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile app and services. By using Nuqta AI, you agree to the practices described below.

2Information We Collect

We collect the minimum information needed to deliver the service:

• Account information: your name and email address (provided during sign up).
• Health data: food logs and calorie intake that you enter manually inside the app.
• Device information: device type and operating system version, used for compatibility and crash diagnostics.
• Usage data: which features you use and approximate session duration, used to improve the app.

3How We Use Your Information

• To provide the core app service — logging, halal checks, and nutrition tracking.
• To personalize nutrition recommendations and AI insights.
• To send important app updates (we do not send marketing without your explicit consent).
• We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4Data Storage & Security

• Data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore).
• All information is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
• Our servers run on Google Cloud's secure global infrastructure.
• Access to production data is restricted to authorized engineers only.

5Third-Party Services

To deliver Nuqta AI we rely on a small number of trusted providers:

• Anthropic Claude API — used for AI nutrition analysis. Only food names and ingredient text are sent. No personal data is shared.
• Open Food Facts API — public product database used for barcode lookups. No personal data is shared.
• Google Firebase — provides authentication and data storage. The Google Privacy Policy applies to data handled by Firebase.

6Data Retention & Deletion

• Your data is retained until you delete your account.
• You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account. This permanently removes your food logs, profile, and authentication record.
• For other data requests (export, correction, deletion outside the app), email support@nuqtaai.app and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

7Children's Privacy

Nuqta AI is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it.

8Your Rights

• Right to access, correct, or delete your data.
• Right to opt out of analytics and non-essential processing.
• Right to withdraw consent at any time.
